IAEA-S-3 silver sulfide was prepared by B. W. Robinson (Lower Hutt, New Zealand) sphalerite provided by S. Halas, University Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland with δ34S vs. VCDT near 30 ‰ [1, 2].
The δ34S isotopic value of IAEA-S-3 is the result interlaboratory comparisons [1, 2]. The material is often used for δ33S calibrations, but this value is not officially agreed.
